The physical; mental and spiritual self are not three separate entities within our bodies but are all interconnected and inextricably linked to form the whole 'self'. It helps if we think of our 'thinking' self as conscious; sub-conscious and super-conscious.
Our "sub-conscious" relentlessly records all external stimuli sight; smell; sound; touch. Our "conscious" attempts to make sense of all external stimuli and produces in us, emotion; feelings; attitudes etc.
Our "super-conscious" connects us with the universal forces of nature and with other peoples super-conscious, Spirit Guides and with the Great Spirit.
Modern life may often leave us feeling ‘phased’; out of sorts; confused and depressed. Meditation therapy is a natural therapy that has been practiced for many thousands of years. Whether it is the Australian Aborigines "Dream Time", the Tibetan Buddhist meditation, the Indian transcendental meditation or the Celtic day dream, all have stood the test of time as being a reliable method of making contact with our inner selves. Meditation cannot be taught (in the strict sense of wrote learning). Ki Spirit do facilitate meditative awakenings. Opening the pathway on which you can travel, at your own pace, until meditation is experienced.
Science advises that meditation alters the brainwave activity such that the brain waves shift into predominantly "alpha-wave" patterns. This "alpha-wave" state is one which signifies deep relaxation. In time you will learn to be able to induce this state wherever you are. Just think, wherever you are, whatever you are doing, deep relaxation can be just a few moments away.
Meditation opens the way to spiritual growth and development. Regardless of your religious persuasions you will develop attunement to your own inner spiritual self and unlock many doors.
‘Waking’ from meditation one often feels totally focused, 'connected' and "in-control" of ones life and being. It takes some considerable time for others to upset or phase us and we feel balanced and in harmony with our environment and our destiny.
Regular practice allows us to ‘glimpse’ a more spiritual dimension within ourselves. Visions; colours and peace awaits the patient meditator.
If this relaxation and the prospect of awakening your inner self interests you you will be pleased to learn that John is currently working on Meditation CD's which will soon be available for sale on this site.
